The Black Watch Association Pipes and Drums of Montreal is a civilian pipes and drums formed in 2010 and continues to expand it's membership today.
Our membership comprises people dedicated to the development and instruction of Bagpiping and Highland Drumming here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The organization provides talented and experienced instructors and continues to build the expertise within the band and the Black Watch School.
The pipe band includes former members of the regimental pipes and drums and other musicians that have come up through the Association's instructional organization. The band has performed at festivals in Sherbrooke, Kinnears Mills, Plessisville, Huntington, Halifax, Waterloo, Ottawa and Montreal to name a few. The band is proud to march with the St Andrew's Society in the Montreal St. Patrick's Parade every year.
The Band competes in grade 5 competitions both in Quebec and Ontario.
The BWAPD is a member of the Quebec Piping and Drumming Society.
